2018 marked 100 years since the end of the First World War, a war which is forgotten by todays generation. So in this project I used my Airfix figures to create black and white imagery to portray the horros of the First World War. While most of the images are inspired by actual images created on the front lines, I also created a book where I showed the story of the Christmas Truce.
Inspired by the image of the stretcher being carried through No Mans Land in Passchendaele
25th December 1914: The Tommies and the Jerries meet in No Mans Lands and exchange gifts on what would be known as the Christmas Truce
